For this completed safari-themed Upshirin at Beit Eliyahu in Fresh Meadows, Queens, Ultimate Creations NY transformed the room with a coordinated jungle-inspired décor plan built around deep green, emerald, teal, metallic gold, champagne and cream tones. The design combined a large photo backdrop, organic balloon work, tropical greenery, safari animal props, personalized entrance balloons, themed centerpieces and full-room linens so the celebration felt consistent from the entrance through the guest tables. The result was playful enough for a three-year-old milestone while still feeling polished and elevated for a family event in a formal venue. This project can be used as inspiration for an Upshirin or Upsherin, birthday, baby celebration or other themed event, with every element adjusted to the venue, guest count, color palette and décor scope.
Safari Theme, Colors & Full Event Styling
The palette centered on rich forest and emerald greens, blue-green metallic tones and warm gold. Cream chair covers and champagne-gold linens kept the room bright while the darker greens created a strong jungle look. Rather than relying on floral-heavy styling, this design used tropical leaves and foliage throughout the backdrop and centerpieces to reinforce the safari theme. The mix of metallic and matte balloons added depth without making the room feel overly busy.
Gold Sequin Backdrop & Organic Balloon Installation
The main focal area featured a shimmering gold sequin backdrop framed with an organic balloon garland in emerald, teal and gold. Oversized balloons, metallic spheres, tropical leaves, a monkey foil balloon and a sculptural gold starburst added height and movement. Safari animal props including a giraffe, zebra, tiger, elephant and white tiger were staged across faux greenery bases to create a layered jungle scene that photographed well from both close and wide angles.
Personalized Entrance Décor
At the room entrance, oversized gold letter balloons spelling ELAN were suspended between green balloon columns with coordinated gold, teal and lime accents. This extended the theme beyond the main photo area and created an immediate sense of arrival for guests entering the celebration.
Centerpieces, Linens & Guest Tables
Guest tables were styled with textured gold table linens, cream chair covers, gold chair ties and deep green accents. Safari centerpieces used natural wood-look bases, tropical foliage, plush or sculptural tiger details and gold number 3 balloons. The repeated colors and animal elements connected the tables visually to the main backdrop and entrance installation, creating a cohesive full-room design rather than a single decorated photo wall.
