Katie’s 40th Birthday Garden Party at a Private Queens Home | Pink Florals & Blue-and-White Décor

Katie’s 40th birthday was styled as a polished private-house celebration in Queens, New York, with a bold garden-inspired palette and strong blue-and-white accents. Ultimate Creations NY created a cohesive backyard setting that brought together a statement floral focal area, poolside dining tables, elevated centerpieces and event rentals for a finished, photo-ready look.

Pink Floral Birthday Backdrop with Blue-and-White Details

The main focal area features a layered white architectural arch framing a cobalt-blue door detail, surrounded by abundant florals in fuchsia, hot pink, magenta, blush and touches of purple. A gold open-frame structure holds the personalized “Katie’s 40th Birthday” sign, while a blue-and-white patterned panel adds contrast and connects the backdrop to the table décor.

This completed design is centered on sculptural floral styling rather than balloon décor. The large floral groupings create the visual impact around the sign, arch and surrounding floor arrangements while keeping the look refined and garden-inspired.

Poolside Centerpieces and Table Styling

Round dining tables were styled with crisp white linens, blue-and-white patterned runners and place settings, cobalt-blue chargers and goblets, clear Chiavari chairs and subtle gold accents. Tall clear cylinder vases lift the floral arrangements above the table, allowing guests to see across the setting while still delivering a dramatic centerpiece moment.

The floral centerpieces continue the event palette with roses, hydrangea-style blooms and cascading orchid stems in pink, purple and fuchsia. The combination of vivid florals with classic blue-and-white tableware gives the backyard celebration a colorful but coordinated finish.

Event Rentals and Full Backyard Styling

An illuminated white bar rental provides a dedicated service area for the party, with decorative folding screens behind it for a cleaner, finished presentation. The backdrop, dining tables, centerpieces, seating, bar area and poolside placement work together as one unified private-home event design rather than separate décor pieces.
