For Ilana and Avichai’s baby shower and gender reveal at L’Chaim Restaurant in Rego Park, Queens, Ultimate Creations NY created a coordinated pastel décor story built around soft pink, baby blue, ivory, white and touches of gold. The finished setup combined a personalized focal backdrop, organic balloon styling, a custom reveal box, elevated florals and room-wide balloon accents so the celebration felt cohesive from the entrance photo moment through the banquet tables.
Custom Baby Shower & Gender Reveal Backdrop
The main photo area featured a soft blush arched backdrop personalized with “Ilana & Avichai’s Gender Reveal”. Organic balloon garlands in pink and blue framed both sides of the backdrop, with round foil question-mark balloons adding a playful reveal detail. Beside it, a matching custom “Boy or Girl” reveal box carried the same pastel palette and visual theme.
Pink & Blue Balloon Décor
The balloon design extended beyond the focal area. Pink, blue and clear balloons were placed throughout the room to continue the color story above the banquet table without overwhelming the space. The combination of organic garland work at the backdrop and lighter floating accents through the room created a layered, celebratory look that photographed well from both close and wide angles.
Pastel Floral Centerpieces
The floral palette was designed to feel soft and elevated rather than overly themed. Large arrangements combined pastel blue and white hydrangeas, blush pink and ivory roses, baby’s breath and lush greenery. The florals were displayed on slim gold stands, adding height and visual impact while preserving sightlines across the table. The gold stands also coordinated naturally with the warm gold details already present in the dining room.
Full-Room Styling at L’Chaim Restaurant in Rego Park
Viewed as a complete room, the design connected the personalized backdrop, balloon décor and floral centerpieces into one consistent baby shower and gender reveal experience. The pastel colors stood out against the warm interior of the venue while the elevated flowers and scattered balloon accents helped draw the eye through the length of the banquet setup.
