A milestone birthday deserves details that feel personal. For this completed Ultimate Creations NY project at Posh Pizza and Restaurant on Union Turnpike in Queens, NY, we created an elevated golf-inspired setting for a golf-loving grandfather's 70th birthday celebration.
The palette combined mint green, crisp white, sunny yellow and warm rose-gold accents. The result was bright and celebratory while still feeling refined enough for a seated family dinner.
Golf-Inspired 70th Birthday Décor
The signature detail was the centerpiece design: low round glass bowls filled with visible golf balls and finished with fresh yellow tulips. The golf reference was playful but clean, allowing the florals to remain elegant and easy to enjoy across the table.
The tablescape included white linens, woven natural chargers, white dinnerware, clear glassware and gold flatware. Repeating the same centerpiece style along the long table created a consistent, intentional look from one end of the room to the other.
Mint, White & Rose-Gold Balloon Styling
Mint green and white helium balloon bouquets added height and movement throughout the room. Oversized rose-gold 70 number balloons marked the milestone and created a strong focal moment without overwhelming the seated dinner setup.
Full-Room Styling at Posh Pizza in Queens
The décor was planned to work with the venue's existing greenery ceiling, pendant lighting, illuminated wall niches and white-and-green floral installation. That combination helped the custom balloons, golf details and tulip centerpieces feel connected to the room rather than added on separately.
This completed Queens birthday project is a useful starting point for clients who want a theme that reflects the guest of honor's hobbies while still looking polished in photos and comfortable for guests.
